We’re excited to celebrate this unforgettable week with you! Here’s a full breakdown of events to help you plan your time and make the most of your trip.
Monday – August 4: Arrival Day
🌺 Settle in, explore the island, and enjoy your first day in Oʻahu! No formal events — take it easy and enjoy the beach or pool.
Tuesday – August 5: Explore Oʻahu at Your Own Pace
🌴 No set plans — explore the island at your own pace!
Here are some suggestions:
• North Shore: Shaved ice & food trucks
• Diamond Head: Iconic hike with amazing views
• Beach Hopping: Waikiki, Lanikai, Ka’a’awa & Waimānalo
• Hanauma Bay: Snorkeling paradise (reserve ahead)
• Byodo-In Temple: Peaceful & serene (dress respectfully)
• Makapu‘u Lighthouse Trail: Easy 2-mile walk with stunning ocean views
Wednesday – August 6: Kualoa Ranch Day
Choose your own adventure at this iconic Jurassic Park-style ranch!
⛰️ Activities:
• UTV Raptor Tour (We have a group reservation for the 3:00PM timeslot)
• Jurassic Valley Movie Sites Tour
• Zipline, Horseback Riding, or E-bike Tours

We’re so excited to explore Kualoa together! Because we were able to reserve the entire time slot for our group, the ranch requires the booking to be on one tab—so we’re collecting payments in advance to keep it simple.

🕒 Schedule
• Lunch: We recommend eating beforehand—there’s also a small store with snacks at the ranch.
• 2:15 PM – Check in at ticket office (coordinator only)
• 2:30 PM – Safety briefing & waivers
• 3:00 PM (start time) – 5:00 PM (end time) – UTV Raptor Tour
• Before or After: If you want to explore more, nearby options include Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden, Byodo‑In Temple, Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat), Kailua or Lanikai Beach, and local shrimp trucks in the North Shore.
*The tour can get quite muddy, so we recommend bringing a change of clothes and shoes especially if you plan to go to the beach afterward, as your clothes and footwear will likely get pretty dirty.
🗺️ Not Joining the UTV Tour?
You’re welcome to explore on your own! Kualoa offers plenty of activities, from movie site tours to ziplining, horseback riding, and e-bike adventures. Each guest books their own experience directly with Kualoa Ranch for other activities.

Thursday – August 7: Gifted Beach Photoshoot at Ko Olina
As a heartfelt thank you to our friends and family for traveling all this way to celebrate our big day, we’re gifting each couple and family a personalized beach photoshoot with an amazing photographer @shakashootshawaii. These photos are our thank-you gift! We hope these memories will last a lifetime!
📍 Location: Secret Beach inside Lagoon One, Ko Olina
This is a tucked-away beach connected to Lagoon One — follow the right-hand path along the stone walkway.
The address may be tricky since Ko Olina has multiple lagoons — look for Lagoon One and head along the beach path.
🕕 Morning Session: Starts at 6:45 AM
• Perfect lighting with the sun rising behind the mountains
• Ideal for families with kids or those wanting a peaceful morning shoot
• Please arrive on time — sunrise light fades quickly!
🌞 Afternoon Suggestions:
• Make it a beach day!
• Spend time lounging at the Ko Olina lagoons
• Grab lunch at Monkeypod Kitchen, a musubi/poke from Island Country Market, or any nearby restaurants
🌅 Sunset Session: Starts at 6:30 PM
• Iconic Ko Olina golden hour with the sun setting over the water
• Great for romantic couples, small groups, or dreamy portraits
• Limited slots available
🎥 You can choose from AM, PM, or both sessions — it’s a full day of beautiful memories!

👗 Attire Guidance:
Attire is completely optional — we want you to feel comfortable and confident.
• Feel free to coordinate outfits with your family or match a color palette you love
• You are welcome to bring a change of clothes if you’d like a different look for sunrise and sunset
• Light neutrals, earth tones, pastels, or breezy island colors all look great on camera

Friday – August 8: Rehearsal & Welcome Dinner
(Wedding Party & Immediate Family – Invite Only)
⛪ 4:00 PM – Rehearsal at Sacred Hearts Church

Wedding party and invited family members, please arrive on time for a brief run-through of the ceremony.
6:00 PM – Rehearsal Dinner at 53 By The Sea
📍 Address: 53 Ahui St, Honolulu, HI 96813
We’ll gather for a sunset dinner.
Dress code: Island elegant / Resort dressy
🥂 This event is by invitation only for immediate family and the wedding party.
Saturday – August 9: Wedding Day!
💒 Ceremony – Sacred Hearts Church (Honolulu)
1:00 PM – Guests arrive
1:30 PM – Catholic ceremony begins (Mass is ~1 hour)
2:30 PM – Ceremony concludes
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Family photos
3:00 PM – Departure from church
📍Reception – Lanikūhonua Cultural Institute (Ko Olina)
4:00 PM – Shuttle pickup for Halepuna Waikiki guests
5:00 PM – Cocktail Hour begins
Followed by dinner, dancing, and celebration under the stars!
🚌 Shuttles will be provided for guests staying at Halepuna Waikiki to and from the reception venue.
Sunday – August 10: Recovery & Goodbyes
🌊 No formal plans — enjoy one last dip in the ocean or grab brunch with fellow guests before heading home!

🌦️ Expect warm, sunny weather with occasional light showers
Average highs: 85°F (29°C) / Average lows: 75°F (24°C)
Pack reef-safe sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and light layers
Mornings and evenings near the water can feel breezy
☀️ Don’t forget your swimwear, water shoes (for rocky beaches), and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!
